Is it private?
Yes, if you want it to be. The mobile app has an on-device-only mode: turn it on in Settings and your recording is transcribed right on your device and never sent to the cloud (we're bringing the same option to the web app). The tradeoff is that AI extraction — contacts, tasks, summaries — is skipped for those notes, since that step runs in the cloud. In the default mode, processing happens in our cloud over an encrypted connection, your notes are encrypted at rest, and deleting your account destroys the key. We never sell your data.
Does it work offline?
Yes, in the mobile app's on-device-only mode — transcription runs on your device with no connection needed (coming to the web app too). The default cloud mode, and AI extraction, need a connection.
What languages and accents does it handle?
English, including the way people actually talk — and it keeps up when you switch languages mid-sentence.
Can I use it for the quick voice notes I send on WhatsApp?
Yes — humm..it is built for exactly that kind of quick voice note. Talk for a few seconds and get a clean written note back, with the people and follow-ups pulled out for you.
How is this different from a transcription or dictation app?
Most tools stop at turning your voice into text. humm..it also remembers the people you mention, links notes to them over time, and surfaces the follow-ups you promised — a voice notepad and a personal CRM in one.
Do I need to buy any device or hardware?
No. humm..it runs on the phone and browser you already have — nothing extra to buy, carry, or charge.
