Yes, if you want it to be. The mobile app has an on-device-only mode: turn it on in Settings and your recording is transcribed right on your device and never sent to the cloud (we're bringing the same option to the web app). The tradeoff is that AI extraction — contacts, tasks, summaries — is skipped for those notes, since that step runs in the cloud. In the default mode, processing happens in our cloud over an encrypted connection, your notes are encrypted at rest, and deleting your account destroys the key. We never sell your data.
